Enhancements✨

  • In addition to the Panel management feature, the platform now boosts a new feature that enables researchers to invite testers either manually or through a shared invite link. This feature is designed to simplify the process of maintaining a tester database within the platform. Access to this feature, however, is limited to users with administrative, editorial, or ownership privileges

  • Now, the users can see the existing list of testers and add or remove the selected tester. The manual invite option will enable the user to enter the details about the tester manually and invite them to the platform with a customisable invite message.

  • When a user seeks to add a participant via a hyperlink, they will be led to a pop-up message. Within this message, they shall have the opportunity to view the URL and copy the associated link. This functionality allows testers to receive a tailored message, accompanied by a "Get Started" button. Upon selecting said button, testers shall be required to furnish a variety of details, with the name and email fields being of mandatory nature. Upon submission, testers shall be successfully added to the panel management table.

  • In the context of research, it is possible for the researcher to customize the panel message  the requirements of their company. This entails the ability to incorporate a title and description of their choosing for display, and the ability to upload up to three cover images. Upon completion of these updates, the message will become visible within the invitation by means of a link URL.
  • The users now have the ability to add blocks from various categories such as survey blocks, UX blocks, moderated and unmoderated blocks when creating a study. This powerful feature is designed to enable researchers to gather more insightful data from the surveys conducted on the platform.
  • During the process of creating a study and adding new blocks, the UX blocks contained a single task block. However, this block has now been renamed as "Live Website Testing" and will be available under the sub-heading of "Task-based Usability Testing". This change has been made to enhance the usage of the blocks and make them more effective according to the users' requirements.
  • After a study enters the active or closed state, the Custom Report option is renamed to Insights.
  • A new feature, the Insights tab, has been added to the platform. This feature allows researchers to create a summary of a meeting that was conducted using the platform or external integrations. The Add Insight button enables users to add multiple insights, which can be previewed and shared.
  • The functionality to modify insight titles to suit individual requirements shall be provided to users. On the left-hand side of the Insight panel, users will be able to adjust the order of titled insights via drag-and-drop. The removal of an insight requires selection of one or more insights, followed by deletion. Upon clicking an insight, users may preview and publish the insight.

Note : In order to enable users to view and share insights, it is necessary to publish them. It is important to note that any attempt to delete an insight will result in a confirmation message being displayed beforehand, thereby ensuring that accidental deletions are avoided.

  • Upon clicking the slash located in the untitled insight, users will be presented with a menu of options enabling them to update the insight's summary and format any relevant text by employing highlighting techniques. Additionally, the platform offers a selection of preset cover images that can be updated by clicking the "Update Cover" button. This feature allows users to choose an image from the list of available options.

Note : Users can access the global insights tab to view and share published insights. However, if a published insight is shared with participants and then unpublished, the users will no longer have permission to view that insight. To improve flexibility, an indication for dragging and dropping content within the insights space has been enabled. This allows users to arrange the elements according to their requirements, enhancing legibility and ease of use.

Bug Fixes🔧

We have fixed several issues to ensure that our platform is running smoothly. Here are the details of the fixes:

  • Date alignment issue: We have fixed the issue where the date was not aligned with the design specifications. Now, the date is properly aligned as per the given design.
  • Add new block's icon appearance: We have corrected the appearance of the add new block's icon. It is now the same as per the given design inputs.
  • Toaster message issue: We have resolved the problem of the empty toaster message that appeared when the panel configuration was updated. After the panel configuration is updated, the toaster message now pops up with an updated message successfully.
  • Invitation link issue: Users were facing a "404 error" while inviting participants to the platform via link. We have fixed this issue, and now the users can seamlessly invite participants to the platform via link without any errors.
  • ET calibration camera issue: The ET calibration camera was not working when the user opened the test for the first time with the IOS mobile device. We have fixed this issue, and now the ET calibration camera works fine when the test is taken first using an IOS mobile device.
  • Prototype blocks response issue: We have resolved the issue where the results and reports were not populating the responses accurately for the prototype blocks. Now, the number of responses is correctly populated, which ensures that the user gets insightful data.
